(Global Citizenship Education)

In an interconnected world, schools play an important role in helping young people understand global issues and their responsibilities as citizens. Drawing on experience as a classroom teacher, teacher educator, and educational researcher, I have explored how social studies education, and global citizenship education can help students think and act critically about local and global challenges. My research has also examined how educators can foster informed, engaged, and responsible citizenship in diverse educational settings.
